An updated, modern brand refresh for this non-profit organization. The Casper Museum Consortium is a group of participating museums in the Casper, Wyoming area, with a shared mission of education.
DESIGN OVERVIEW
The design problem with this client/s was to unify the participating museums under one umbrella organization, maximizing the impact of their marketing monies.
An additional issue was keeping the design flexible enough to accomodate museums leaving or joining the consortium.
LOGO
The logo design subtly references the city’s close proximity to Casper Mountain. The clean, un-corporate, accessible design of primarily red and white colors focus on the organization’s mission of education, without lending visual preference to any one of the participating member museums, all with very unique individual brands.
Angling the modified “M” letter is a nod to the active outdoor lifestyle of the region, and Casper Mountain’s profile rising prominently above the city.
IDENTITY SYSTEM
The challenge of the identity system was to incorporate all participating museums text into the design, and still keep the hierarchy for finding contact information prominent. Printing costs were kept down by limiting a bleed to only the business card.
SIGNAGE | DECALS
Additional marketing materials include the custom signage and decal designs, promoting all participating museums. Decals would be distributed to all supporting members and museum visitors.
