This client had very clear ideas of the visuals they wanted for their company, a gun retailer startup in northeastern Ohio.
DESIGN OVERVIEW
The client wanted to place two 1911 model revolvers back-to-back, with one side modified to create the horn of a ram. The border shape behind and surrounding the logo replicates a ram's body. Use of the Shadow of Xizor font was also specifically requested.
Additionally, the logo would be used to create a stamp to mark the guns with the company image, so keeping the graphics simple and identifiable at a small size was important.
